Another problem created with a low rear drop is that the rear shock absorber angle changes dramatically. A 6” drop rear coil spring will cause the rear shocks to lay flat enough that little to no shock compression occurs as the suspension travels up and down. To correct this problem, we engineered a new upper and lower Shock Mount Re-Locator Kit that corrects the shock angle and lengthens the travel as well. Grade 8 hardware and a powder-coated finish are standard with every kit.
