There are no federal standards for replacement automotive friction materials. When you buy brakes, you’re buying the standards of a company along with the good will and respect earned by a brand name manufacturer. Raybestos has exemplified quality in braking since 1902 and they are the exclusive supplier to Early Classic for calipers, friction and master cylinders in every kit we sell.

1967-72 Front Sway Bar Kit (Lowered)

$169.00
SKU: 902-5405L

Tired of chasing the front end of your Classic as it sways all over the road? Our '67-’72 Chevy and GMC Front Sway Bar Kit is just the answer to your handling problems. Each kit utilizes a 1¼-inch diameter bar, Graphite impregnated Polyurethane bushings, lowered frame mounts and all necessary hardware. One of the big problems with a lowered C-10 truck is that the stock front sway bar brackets drop down too low, which allows the bar to slam into every tall speed bump and parking curb.

1965-72 Super Track Bar Kit

$129.00
SKU: 912-6572TBK

When lowering the rear of a C-10 Truck, certain geometric changes occur that need to be corrected. For the rear suspension to perform properly, we pioneered the use of an Adjustable Panhard Bar on our Project ’72, as well as relocated rear shock mounts to correct mis-aligned geometry. With a rear drop of more than 5”, the stock panhard bar actually runs at an uphill angle to attach to the rear axle.

1963-72 Shock Mount Relocator Kit, Rear

$69.00
SKU: 912-80001

1963-72 Shock Mount Relocator Kit, Rear

Another problem created with a low rear drop is that the rear shock absorber angle changes dramatically. A 6” drop rear coil spring will cause the rear shocks to lay flat enough that little to no shock compression occurs as the suspension travels up and down. To correct this problem, we engineered a new upper and lower Shock Mount Re-Locator Kit that corrects the shock angle and lengthens the travel as well. Grade 8 hardware and a powder-coated finish are standard with every kit.
